2. Ich beantrage die Zulassung zum Studium...
Beides ist möglich. Du kannst wählen, was Dir besser gefällt.

request for subscription - Antrag zur Subskription
application for admission - Antrag auf Zulassung
appropriation request - Antrag auf Mittel
registration statement - Antrag auf Börsenzulassung
einen Antrag stellen - to make an application
ich mache dir einen Antrag. - I propose to you for marriage.
