Bon voyage vs bonnes vacances
My friend is going on a holiday this weekend. Can i say "bon voyage"? Or is it "bonnes vacances"? And what's the difference between these 2 phrases? Merci.

Bon voyage refers to the trip itself while bonnes vacances refers to the holidays, where she'll stay, how long etc.
So here you could say both but if you mean to wish her a pleasant stay at her place or whatever go for bonnes vacances.
