(Please correct me)Describe the difference between Taipei, Beijing, and Shanghai.(2/2) There are lots of big cities in China, and both Beijing and Shanghai are the most famous cities in mainland China. But there are some differences between them. There are so many things I adore about Beijing. The first one is its long history. Beijing is an ancient city. Owing to the fact that it was one of the four great ancient capitals of China, it is a place full of history as well as historical sites, which makes it so special to me. Just take a look at the imperial palaces and the ancient gardens, you'll be amazed at the skills of the people in the past. As the capital of China, Beijing is the centre of politics and international communication. Furthermore, I hate rough it and very afraid of living in hot weather, I can’t survive without air conditioning, so I think this city suits me. At last, there are many good career opportunities in my field, I hope to find a decent job here in the future. When it comes to Shanghai, Shanghai is not heading towards an iconic city of China but also a symbol of modernity in China. It is the centre of science, economy, and finance, so there are numerous international companies choose Shanghai as their headquarter location. There are lots of tall buildings and modern shopping malls here, where full of designer shops and famous brand shops and each store are unique. It's much more enjoyable to go shopping here. Shanghai is a modern city with wonderful tourist attractions. Meanwhile, as more people swarm into the city, the housing prices and living expenses are increasing sharply. However, Because of the TV series which I watched when I was a kid, it impresses me, so I have a special feeling for Shanghai. In short, I really adore this place.
