Egyptian Arabic Basics
I am finding it very difficult to find Egyptian Arabic resources. I hope someone can help me if possible.
My questions are how do I ask
How old are you? (Male and female)
I am____ years old?
The numbers up to 100 for ages as I know they are different.
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me, if possible could you write the pronunciation in English as I struggle with Arabic pronunciation.
Thank you very much

Note : when texting in arabic language but using English letters to show the pronunciation
There are some letters that doesn't have an equivalent sound in English so we use numbers instead like:
5 for خ Like ( J in spanish )
8 for غ Like ( R in French )
4 for ش like ( SH in english )
7 for ح
2 or ' for ء
(3ndy) عندى = I HAVE
(3ndak) عندَك = YOU HAVE ( to male )
(3ndek) عندِك = YOU HAVE (to female )
(3ndokom) عندكم = YOU HAVE ( to more than one person )
U can also say (3ndoko) عندكو

Well, I am really happy to help you with that.
Generally, we will say in Egypt :
عندك كام سنة؟ for boys
عندِك كام سنة؟ for girls
If you write them they look the same but the difference in the pronunciation.
Andak = which means "You have" عندك
Kam= How many
Sana = Year
for girls, you usually have to use "Kassrah" so it will become
Andik instead of "Andak"?عندِك
You can start your question with "Andak for boys, and Andik for girls, to ask if they have something.
You can ask me for more clarification and I'd be super happy to assist.
يومك سعيد = Yumak Sa'eed= Have a happy day.
