I am curious if there is any difference with using 一人 vs 独り
Are there any subtle differences or implied differences when using one over the other? Or are there certain circumstances where you'd use one, but not the other?
Thank you for your time!

To me, 独り is not so common for casual context and it seems 独りemphasizes solitary because 独 means isolation.
一人 is the more natural use but I often see 独り in lyrics.
Hope this helps.
