What does the word "particular" mean in the following context?
"Then she told me all about the bad place, and I said I wished I was there. She got mad then, but I didn’t mean no harm. All I wanted was to go somewheres; all I wanted was a change, I warn’t particular. "
Thanks!

Hello,
Change the 'warn't' to wasn't.
In this case the word 'particular' means a specific place. So the sentence means 'I just wanted to to go somewhere different, for a change'. The place does not matter it just has to be somewhere other than the current place.

In this context, it is best understood as fussy, or selective. As in - I didn't have a particular place I wanted to be, just not here. When you say you are not particular in a choice you are making, it means not bothered by which option is decided upon or you equally open to all options.

Here 'particular' means 'hard to please'/ difficult. In other words the person was not fussy or picky about where to go
