It seems character is identified by spirit and bravery, while personality is identified by reasoning and attitudes. Character is from an unknown world is impossible to change, contracting with personality which can be modified by practice.

Character has the meaning of “impression”. It is how people see you. Personality is your individuality, it is what reflects your mood or your actions. I’m not a professional teacher, but just keep this in mind :)

"Personality" suggests being engaging, fun and likable whereas "having good character" suggests honesty, resilience and tenacity (among other qualities). It's the difference between qualities of someone who would make a good friend and of someone considered to be competent and dependable.
