"Ask him how old he is" is correct because you are telling someone to ask the question. You would say "how old is he" when you are the person asking the question to someone else.

Hello Noha, It's, for sure, "ask him how old he is." is the correct one. This is a sentence, when we use w/h questions in the form of sentences we don't exchange positions of the subject and the to-be or to-have verbs. You would say "How old is he?" if you are asking. Good luck.

"Ask him how old he is" is correct. Embedded questions use statement word order, not inversion.

Hi Noha, ‘Ask him how old he is’ is correct. It’s a grammar point. You put the verb before the subject only in direct questions (in this case, How old is he?’. There’re similar sentences: ‘Do you know what it is?’ (Indirect question) -> No I don’t know what it is. ‘What is it?’ (Direct question) -> I don’t know Hope it helps 😊
