I goggled this :o) .. it turns out that Hollowmas is another name for All Saints Day. In fact Halloween used to mean "Holy Evening" because it is the day before All Saints Day. All Saints Day is Nov 1 and Halloween is October 31. The traditions evolved in Europe 2000 years ago when they were pagan, spirit worshiping people. When the Catholic Church took over (around 1000 years ago) they didn't really drop the traditions, they just gave them more Catholic sounding names. :D

I never heard about "Hallowmas" but I presume it is a mix for "Halloween and Christmas"... It is a suggestion...
