News on Large Hadron Collider or News about Large Hadron Collider?
Hi there, I often read in news the phrase "report on smth", "feedback on smth" etc. I would use about instead of "on". Is it a special news style?
P.S.: Large Hadron Collider is just an example :)

In this case you can use either "on" or "about". News people like things to be short. Their rule: If the meaning is not changed, always go with the shorter version.
It made more of a difference when most news was printed, but old habits die hard.
