“偏偏” ①It means: “just” sort of “by chance / happen to” / “just” “凑巧”/“恰恰”的意思
It can be used for expressing a kind of connotative moods . like, feeling helpless(无助感or无奈感)
samples:
1.为什么伤害我的人,偏偏是你? {Why are you the just person who have hurt me so badly? }
2.我多想让自己恨你,忘了你,永远不想再见你,可偏偏心里只爱你,只想一直看着你.
{How I wish to let myself to hate you, forget you , never want to see you again . anyway,I cannot help but love you seriously , just wants to see you all the time… }
②It means “only”, and with something like querulous tone.(带点牢骚的口吻)or feeling unlucky

③It means “against” , (to be contrary to certain circumstances by doing sth. deliberately)

1.明明知道那时我心情不好,可他偏偏还要惹我生气。{He knew very well that l had bad days at that period, but still went on offending me.}
2.我相信已经把道理讲的明明白白了,可她偏偏还是执迷不悟。{I believe that I had already explained the issues clearly ,but she still refused to listen to reason.}
