What does 'get up to much' mean?
A friend of mine texted me; "are you getting up to much today?"
well i don't understand the 'get up to much' part
so how should i reply?

or even simpler
"what are you up to?"

most people would say "what are you getting up to?"
or "what are you doing"

What did you get up to yesterday? = What did you do?
I didn't get up to much. = I didn't do much.
