보통은 학교 같은 곳에서 옆자리에 앉는 사람을 '짝'이라고 합니다.
하지만 가끔씩은 연인을 그렇게 부르기도 하지요.

초.중.고등학교 시절 책상을 같이 사용하던 친구를 "짝,짝꿍,짝지"라고 부릅니다
"동석"은 자동차 등을 같이 타고 갈때 사용합니다.
