What's the American equivalent of 'dogsbody'?
I'm not sure if there's any American slang word for that. I wonder if 'dogsbody' is understood in the states? I like how this word sounds.

A dogsbody, or less commonly dog robber in the Royal Navy, is a junior officer, or more generally someone who does drudge work. A rough American equivalent would be a "gofer", "scutpuppy", or "grunt".
I got that from Wikipedia, so it must be correct, eh?
