1.A person who is gullible and easy to take advantage of
As to Verb
1. Rob at gunpoint or with the threat of violence
"I was mugged in the streets of New York last night"
While Rob
1.Take something away by force or without the consent of the owner
"The burglars robbed him of all his money"

mugging is a type of robbery.
robbery is taking somethig using fear and force.
mugging is a robbery taking place outside - on the street, parkings and so on.
