比如说，“在过去的几年中，我竟然一直把A当成了B。”这句话翻成英文一般都怎么说的？

英語中，人們少用竟然居然。但你仍可說：
In previous years, I, unacceptably, thought that A was B.
不過有點怪。
總之加一點副詞去修飾即可。
