Secrétariat téléphonique - operating the switchboard ? Hi everyone, I'm having trouble translating "secrétariat téléphonique". I know you can say "operating the switchboard", but isn't the switchboard (standard téléphonique) something specific, like, for the hotlines etc...? Here I'm talking about a medical practice, answering the phone, taking appointments.... Is there a specific world for this ? Or do you also say switchboard ? Or just "answering the phone" ?
