What's she singing? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4H_Zoh7G5A&feature=related Lots of people hear that like "Tonight we gon' be it on the floor ". The other big part decipher that like "Tonight we gonna hit on the floor". There are multiple other variants like "Tonight we gonna eat on the floor" and so further and so further. What is it in your opinion? Thank you very, very much. That's exactly what was being done by me. I've googled a lot.;) Does she sing proper English? What kind of English that lyrics bears then? None of those sentences is right on account of proper English. Can we learn English by lyrics as was suggested? I like this song though. A great singer, lovely melody.

Ah, found it (err... repeated in most of the song, actually). OK, here's what I hear: "Tonight we goin' be hittin' the floor." or "Tonight we goin' be hip on the floor." (Which sounds a bit tacky.) "Be 'it' on the floor" makes little sense, but then again this is pop music. No, she doesn't sing 'proper' English, if you mean following a logical process, grammar or pronunciation. Sorry to say, I remember the melody from many many years ago, and J-Lo's remake doesn't do it justice (plus only giving us half the melody). :/ Just my opinion.

It's actually quite hard to try to decipher what people are singing sometimes. You should try to going on google.com and searching for "jennifer lopez on the floor lyrics" Any of those links should do. "Tonight we gon’ be it on the floor" - That's what she is saying
