"belong to" and "belong in" - Is there any difference? I think they are slightly different, but not sure how to use each of them. Can you give me some examples?

Belong to, demonstrates being possessed or owned by someone. Belong in, is used for inclusion in some group

Uses of belong to: It belongs to him - he owns it, it is his He belongs to an organisation - he is a member of an organisation I belong to you - I am yours, I love you Uses of belong in: That belongs in the cabinet - that should be in the cabinet The first one is much more used. :)

He belongs to a club, a team, a church, etc. He's such a dangerous driver. He belongs in jail! Belong to = be a member of belong in = should be in
