Speaking of festivals, there is an unusual trend that more and more people, especially young people, tend to focus on their vacations during festivals. They really care more about how many days off they’ll be allowed to take during festivals. They plan to have a trip with their family and ignore the traditional celebrations during festivals. On the other side, elder people care more about traditions associated with every festival. They prepare a lot of food and traditional activities for their children or grandchildren during festivals, but usually they just spend time with their spouse. In such a fast-paced era, tradition has been rapidly replaced by new things. Most people around me know the name of each festival, but they slowly lost their interest for the culture of festivals. They just want to relax during festivals. So, if you ask me which is my favourite festival, maybe I’ll give you the name of a festival that has the longest vacation.
