What does "worked up" mean here?

I 100% agree with my colleagues :) This is a very useful phrasal verb and can be used in most situations when there are heightened emotions.
It can also be used in other contexts to mean "build up" or "accumulate". For example: "He worked up a lot of momentum before jumping over the wall."

“Worked up” could mean to get upset or angry about something, or it could also mean, to get very excited about something.
