Insegnante professionistaPhenomenon vs Phenomena — What’s the Difference?
Many students get confused with the words phenomenon and phenomena.
Let’s make it clear 👇
👉 Phenomenon = one event, fact, or situation
👉 Phenomena = more than one event, fact, or situation
Think like this:
• Criterion → Criteria
• Analysis → Analyses
• Thesis → Theses
Examples:
✔ The northern lights are a stunning natural phenomenon.
✔ Solar eclipses are rare phenomena.
✔ These social phenomena are difficult to explain.
More tricky ones:
• Datum → Data
• Medium → Media
• Index → Indices
Now it’s easier, right? 😊
Tell me in the comments:
Have you ever witnessed an amazing phenomenon?
