Can you correct my text ? Q. Some people believe that automobiles have been a
beneficial invention, whereas others believe any benefits are outweighed by the
negative impact they have had on the environment. Which position do you support
and why? Give concrete examples to support your answer. Although it may be true
that automobiles have had some negative effects on the environment, their
benefits are very valuable. There are two reasons: they promote the
interaction of local cultures and help to create relationships between people. Using cars promotes cultural interaction. At first, culture was localised, in that people never knew, and were never introduced to, people living in other areas. Car travel made it easy to share culture with many other people. Secondly,
allowing people to experience the culture, for example Yosakoi-festival in Kochi prefecture. It's a
traditional local dance festival in summer at Kochi prefecture. But, many people
from other prefectures or from abroad join in and enjoy it every summer
thanks to car travel. The emblem of car travel is the exportation of
people and culture. Lastly, it promotes emotional interactions between humans, for example friendships, the sadness of farewells, and long distance
relationships. It maybe unique emotions that only humans can feel. It is also said that
long distances deepen human relationships. For these reasons, I
think that automobiles have been a beneficial invention for human. Thank you
