'Awaken your interest '?? . Could I use this verb with interest? The meaning I need is ' despertar tu interés ' in Spanish. Maybe it's too formal, could I say 'get you interested' , 'make you have interest in' ...?

Thank you

Answer

Yes, "awaken your interest" is correct but quite formal. More natural options:

* "Get you interested" (casual)
* "Spark your interest" (common)
* "Make you interested" (less common but okay)
* "Pique your interest" (a bit formal but widely used)

Avoid "make you have interest in"—it sounds unnatural.
