if you search YouTube you will find that for this word Composite in All English speaking Nations nobody pronounces it or stresses  it  nor splits the syllables in the same way.

So basically pick the one you like the most.

Nowadays the stress and syllable breakdown varies a little from place to place and from American and the other English speaking countries.

In the UK the stress is in the middle POS and small variations on how much of the P O or S is stressed raised in tone. Not sure about American composite. But there are some older UK speakers who say com -Po - SITE and they really distinctly stress the SITE at the End.
