I saw a couple of Common Mallard swimming in a storage pond yesterday afternoon, on the way of my going home. It’s so peaceful that they swimming under the sunset. Pink water of the pond reflected the Mallard more beautiful. It’s head is green with a yellow beak. And the up of its neck is also green with a white circle as a end. In Chinese 绿=green, 头=head, and 鸭=Ducks or Mallards. This is why it’s Chinese name from.
