Many tutors teach English writing very well, but they've never been published. But I have been writing for top American publications for years: Cosmopolitan, The Washington Post and The Boston Globe, among many others. So when you have me as your teacher, you'll know that you're being taught by a real writer who makes a living
from her writing in addition to teaching on italki.
Of course, I can help you learn or improve your English speaking, listening and reading, as well.
My other interests include ancient Egypt which I've taught online with Outschool.com. If you'd like, we can even have a session on ancient Egypt in English.
If you want to write like a native-English speaker, then I’m your teacher. I'm seeking self-motivated students - intermediate, advanced or proficient - who like to help plan their lessons with me. When students take charge of their lessons, I'm really impressed.
I tell students at the beginning of our sessions to not get really upset or over-apologize about mistakes. I make plenty of mistakes, too. So if you can enjoy yourself while you're learning English, I'm happy. Students have told me that I'm funny, patient and supportive, and I plan to live up to these expectations for you.
