こんにちは、Kimiです。I was born and raised in Hyogo.
I have lived in Australia, and now I live in Germany.
I have many interests. I love drawing, cooking, learn languages, walking in Nature, sports(Snowboarding, Yoga, Run), Watch U.S drama series and Travel.
I like to visit historical places. My favorites are Kyoto, Hiroshima, Barcelona, Wien and Berlin.
I also like to meet new people and learn about different cultures.
Now I am learning German,Spanish, Photoshop and Sushi roll !!

I have experienced teaching Japanese to adults in Japan and Australia.
For many years I have studied English and now I am learning German. Therefore, I understand exactly what it's like to learn a new language.
With my positive attitude and cheerful character, we will have a lot of fun while making progress quickly.
I want that our lessons are not only about studying but also have good time together.

My lesson will be build up around you. I will adjust based on what you want to learn.
We can have general conversations or talk about specific topics.
I try to keep my lessons fun and relaxed.
If you like, you can send me after each lesson some Japanese writing(or use the Latin alphabet) about what we talked during the lesson or anything you want to write.
I will check and correct it and then send it back to you.
"Speaking" and "Writing" at the same time makes your Japanese improve quicker!

Kimi is a talented teacher. I came to her with absolutely zero knowledge of Japanese and only a month of time to prepare for a work trip to Japan. I feel that she has done an excellent job in preparing me as best as possible.
I especially like the time she allows for review. While she is teaching, she draws on previous lessons and asks me lots of questions, which forces me to recall what I've learned. I think this has really reinforced a lot of the material in my mind. She also has good resources! We follow https://www.irodori.jpf.go.jp/en/ and she takes notes during the lesson which she shares with me after. Because I am a predominantly visual learner, I find the text and her notes extremely helpful.
11 out of 10, I would highly recommend taking classes with Kimi.

My lesson with Kimi was great! I hadn't had a lot of time during the week to decide what I wanted to cover in this lesson, but Kimi was really good at giving me questioning prompts to keep the conversation going, and we didn't have any moments where we were struggling to keep the lesson flowing. Thank you, Kimi!

I've been taking lessons from Kimi for almost a year to practice conversation. She is a wonderful teacher and very easy to talk to about any subject. She gently corrects mistakes without interrupting the flow of conversation and provides great feedback. I highly recommend her!

Lessons with Kimi-san are always fun, enjoyable, and educational. Time flies in conversation, and I still can't believe I am able to converse in Japanese now! Kimi-san is good at putting her students at ease, and she is also great at helping you practice grammar points when needed. She encourages written homework which has helped me level up enormously over the past months. She's a great teacher! I highly recommend her classes.
