Nycole Barrera

I’m two weeks into Nycole’s one-month Spanish Intensive course and it’s hands-down the most productive learning experience I’ve ever had on my language learning journey. Within these past two weeks I learned how to form FULL SENTENCES in past, present, and future tense. I’ve experience immediate success after each two-hour session, and find myself being able to read and listen so much more effectively. Nycole is patient and motivating— she challenges you just enough to practice the material learned in class without you feeling overwhelmed. I also find her podcasts very helpful, and find myself learning a lot about Colombia in the process. Overall I’m incredibly satisfied with the effectiveness of her teaching method, and look forward to completing this one-month intensive and also continue working with her afterwards to improve my conversational skills!

An informative lesson with Nycole. She helped me correct some grammar mistakes. She always comes prepared for our lessons and I always come away learning something new and wanting to learn more.

I highly recommend Nycole. In just the first lesson she made me feel more confident with my currently limited capabilities and excited about expanding my ability to speak and understand. I felt like I was in very caring and capable hands. You will too.

Worked on verb conjugation by creating sentences with the conjugated verbs and new vocabulary in the first lesson. Nycole was patient and explained things very well and was able to answer any questions I had.

The trial lesson with Nycole was great. She is very patient and encouraging and I am looking forward to taking more lessons with her.
