Hi! I'm Noemi, and I'm a modern languages specialist. With a master's degree in Modern Languages and several years of tutoring experience, I have had the pleasure of helping over 400 students achieve their language learning goals.
My academic background includes a thesis on the study of gender in Victorian literature, and a thesis on the role of the teacher in our globalised society.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have also published some books in Italian with Genesis Publishing. However, my ultimate goal is to become a full-time language teacher!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I'm an experienced Italian language tutor with a master's degree in Modern Languages. I believe that learning a new language is one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences. I'm dedicated to making it an enjoyable and successful journey for my students, helping them achieve their language learning goals.
I offer customized lesson plans that cater to each student's individual needs and goals. My primary tool for tutoring is Google Docs, which allows for real-time collaboration and serves as an effective virtual whiteboard. However, if you prefer a more traditional approach, I'm happy to incorporate a physical whiteboard in our video sessions. I also provide customized homework assignments, reading materials, and a complete language immersion experience. For those not yet fluent in the language they are studying, I offer explanations in English or French as needed.

Noemi is an absolute treasure. She is so incredibly organized, has a wealth of materials, can clearly explain things in a way that makes them stick, and is thorough and detail-oriented but also extremely engaging and fun to work with. I love the plan she came up with to get me to my goal, I want to work hard for her, and I look forward to going to class!! Cannot recommend her and her classes enough for anyone who wants to learn or improve their Italian.

I have been studying with Noemi for over two years and each lesson is outstanding. She is patient, kind, funny and incredibly knowledgeable about language, linguistics and teaching. I feel lucky to have such high quality instruction from a native speaker who is also excellent in English for when I need that extra clarification. I only hope she keeps teaching for a long time!

I really enjoyed my lesson with Noemi. She was very patient with me and was very respectful in correcting my mistakes (even those that were embarrassing for me!) The time flew by so I’m looking forward to my next lesson.

It is really happy and full of the sense of acchievement to dig in the world of poetry with Noemi. Her way of thinking about and understanding the language and literature influences me a lot!!! I highly recommend anyone who is passinate in Italian to learn with her!!!
