I really enjoy my lessons with Aika Sensei! She is extremely patient, even as I stumble through testing out grammar that I'm not familiar with. She also gives feedback and corrections in a very gentle yet instructive way. Looking forward to more lessons with her! :)

Aika-sensei has become my favourite conversational instructor. Our lessons tend to be quite casual, which helps put me at ease when I'm feeling nervous about forgetting words. I can tell my Japanese is getting better each time we meet, and her encouragement and guidance inspires me to keep going!

In our most recent lesson, Aika-sensei helped me practice ordering in restaurants and navigating how to communicate my partner's dietary restrictions clearly. She also helped with proofreading an allergy card I had created, which I really appreciate! I'm looking forward to my next lesson with Aika-sensei once I return from my trip to Japan!

Aika-san is one of the friendliest and most helpful instructors I've met. Her approach is very conversational, which is exactly what I wanted to focus on in my Japanese learning journey. She's incredibly patient as I'm struggling to remember words, and if I don't understand, she types out what she's saying (or what I'm trying to say) and explains it in clear and understandable terms. I look forward to our next lesson!
