I was born in Brescia, a town in northern Italy between Milan and Venice.
I have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and spent 10 years working as a Sales Manager in the renewable energy sector.
For the last four years I have been living and working in Mexico as an Italian teacher at both high school and university level, while more recently I also started teaching online.
I am an easy-going, friendly (so they say!) and travel-enthusiast person. I can help you improve your speaking skills, whether you want to practice casual daily conversations or more formal, work-related situations.

We can talk about a wide range of topics: daily situations, movies, sports, Italian cities and food, travels, or any specific area you would like to improve (for example, professional or work-related contexts).
We can read articles aloud to improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and self-confidence. I can provide reading materials, or you may bring something of your own interest for us to analyze together.
We can also focus on grammar, working step by step from A1 to C2. I provide all the materials — textbooks, exercises, and slides — the same resources I use in my high school and university classes. Simone is an excellent teacher. His lessons are structured with a workbook as well as conversation. The lessons are appropriate difficult, yet understandable with some extra work on your own. He is patient while maintaining expectations for proper grammar and pronunciation. I thoroughly enjoy learning with Simone.
