Hi, I’m Danny—a fun, neutral-accented English teacher from Chicago, now calling Barcelona home for 17 years. With 17+ years of experience, I specialize in **Cambridge/TOEFL exam prep** and **Business English**, helping professionals and teens succeed. My background in Communication and Marketing means I teach practical, engaging English—whether for interviews, presentations, or daily fluency.

When I moved to Barcelona I started teaching English at language schools teaching to all different ages and levels. After several years of teaching I decided to study a Masters in Communication and marketing. For this reason I feel that I am very qualified to help you with your Business English needs.
Later, I decided to become a teacher at a high school here in Spain, so I studied a Masters in Teaching secondary school English. Since 2013 I’ve been teaching English to 15, 16, 17 and 18 year olds at a local high school in Mataró, a town near Barcelona. I truly believe the best way to learn a language is by practicing it and speaking it, especially about things that interest you. For this reason I try to make my classes focused on speaking communication. My classes are designed to get you to speak from day one. Depending on your interests and likes I can design the class so you practice your speaking and listening skills. It is important to be able to write or read as well, and the best way to do that is by using materials that are relevant and interesting to you.
Aside from creating dynamic classes I can also help you prepare for any of the Cambridge or TOEFL exams. I have material and ideas to get you well prepared to pass!Il mio materiale didattico
