Hello everyone! My name is Violet, and I'm a French as a Foreign Language tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching online. I believe that language is like a mirror - it reflects many aspects of who we are and holds countless fascinating mysteries. I also truly believe that the more languages you speak, the more versions of yourself you discover within you! I'm originally from Russia, but I live in Italy, between Como and Milan. I am passionate about visual arts, especially video and photography. I even won an award at a visual arts festival, which allowed me to attend a film festival in La Rochelle, France. There, I took part in a film criticism workshop as part of an international team of French-speaking filmmakers and journalists, under the guidance of a critic from "Cahiers du cinéma". I have a wide range of interests, from Formula 1 to Italian cuisine, which helps me connect with students and keep our lessons dynamic. I have completed the teaching program "Teaching French as a Foreign Language today" at Alliance Française de Vichy, and I hold internationally recognized DELF and DALF diplomas. I also worked at the Alliance Française as a Cultural and Communications Officer, where I contributed to organizing French film festivals, exhibitions, etc. I also worked as a consecutive interpreter from French at various events. Thanks to this experience, I can not only help you communicate in French but also introduce you to the richness of French culture.
