Hello! I’m Lucie, a native Czech speaker and experienced interpreter living in England. I moved abroad at the age of twenty, and through daily conversations, I mastered English. I believe that the best way to learn a new language is through conversation, and that’s the approach I bring to my Czech lessons.
Professionally, I have worked as a translator in fields such as healthcare, social services, and law enforcement, giving me a deep understanding of both languages and cultures. Currently, I work as a film equipment instructor at a university, where I help students develop technical skills every day.

Lucie is so patient, and really understands my needs. This lesson we made quite a breakthrough in my understanding of something that has been difficult for me for a long time. This has really boosted my confidence. I can't wait for our next lesson.

Making some more great progress today. Lucie is very patient and explains things very well. She understands when to push my learning that little bit further to make sure I keep making good progress.

Ahoj, today we practiced location and description words. We also role-played meeting and asking each other questions.
