Hi there! My name is Haruka.
I live in Tokyo with my husband and two daughters. I lived in the U.S. for about three years due to my husband's work. I love watching movies and foreign dramas, traveling, and Japanese hot springs(Onsen).
こんにちは！私（わたし）の名前（なまえ）は、はるかです。
夫（おっと）と娘（むすめ）二人（ふたり）と、今（いま）は東京（とうきょう）で暮（く）らしています。夫（おっと）の仕事（しごと）の関係（かんけい）で、アメリカに約３年間（やくさんねんかん）住（す）んでいました。私（わたし）は映画（えいが）や海外（かいがい）ドラマを見（み）ること、旅行（りょこう）、日本（にほん）の温泉（おんせん）が大好（だいす）きです。Che tipo di insegnante sono
I was born and raised in Tokyo, so I speak standard Japanese. I have a junior and senior high school teaching license in English. I worked for a major Japanese company for about 10 years, so I can also teach business conversation and manners.
I am a certified Japanese language teacher.
私（わたし）は東京（とうきょう）で生（う）まれ育（そだ）ったので、標準語（ひょうじゅんご）を話（はな）します。英語（えいご）の中高教員免許（ちゅうこうきょういんめんきょ）を持（も）っています。

Haruka is, hands down, one of the absolute best conversationalists on this site. I've had lessons with dozens of iTalki tutors and I'm consistently impressed with how fun and easy it is to talk to her. She's great at making lessons enjoyable, always bringing up interesting or engaging things to talk about. She's a very fun person who I always look forward to talking to, and you can't ask for anything better from conversation practice.

Haruka is super nice and easy to talk to. I realized I picked the wrong level—I’m a total beginner and need more grammar and structure. She’s better suited for people who already know the basics and want to practice speaking. Still, she was lovely and I can definitely see her being a great teacher for the right student!
