Hello! My name is Nicolas. I'm half English and half Greek. I was born in London and at the moment I am living in Greece. I have lived many years in both countries, traveling, studying, experiencing day to day life and embracing their rich culture. I feel privileged that I can identify with both of my nationalities and live at ease in any of the two. The past couple of years I have become infatuated with learning foreign languages, linguistics and language acquisition. I have been teaching English as a foreign language in Greece for two years now. I have taught one to one, mostly with children and young teenagers, preparing them for their lower exams and helping with the conversational skills. I have also taught Historical European Martial Arts for two years now. I believe this enhanced my capabilities as an teacher as I had to work simultaneously with students of different levels and find solutions to any problems that they might have. I like to tailor my lessons to the student's specific needs. I have them focus on learning the language's structure so they can be more constructive with language. I want my students to get into the mindset of how the language works so they create the own sentences and be productive with the language.Il mio materiale didattico

Great first lesson with Nick! I told Nick that I need speaking practice to improve my accuracy and fluency, and he was happy to ask me some questions, giving me the opportunity to do what I need the most. He helped when I struggled finding the right words and gave some feedback on my speaking skills. At the same time, he always let me finish what I was saying, keeping the conversation smooth, even if I had made some mistakes here and there. Thanks Nicolas!!
