Maestra Yris is very encouraging and very helpful. I love her teaching skills and her class is fun. What ever you don’t understand she will explain it thoroughly before moving on. She also meets you right where you are. She makes you feel comfortable with speaking even if you don’t get it right.

I had a brief introduction class. She had me make short sentences from a select list of words that I knew and some I didn’t know. Really enjoyed the relaxed but informative lesson.

Yris is such a wonderful tutor! I learned so much from her and really enjoyed her teaching style. She is very knowledgeable, kind, and has a great sense of humor that makes the lessons so enjoyable. Would highly recommend if you are interested in learning Spanish, especially Dominican Spanish.
