I’ve taken around 80 lessons with Yris, and my Spanish has improved a ton throughout my lessons with her. When I first started, I could barely put together a full sentence. But Yris met me exactly where I was and made the lessons feel comfortable and fun even when speaking felt really intimidating. She is incredibly warm, patient, and easy to connect with. She also creates an environment where you don’t feel embarrassed to make mistakes. As I’ve improved, our lessons have evolved. Now our classes feel like natural conversations which is exactly the kind of practice I need as I get more comfortable using Spanish in real situations. She still corrects me and helps me sound more natural, but the lessons never feel stressful or forced. I’m incredibly grateful I found Yris. She is a great teacher and an awesome person. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their Spanish!

I really enjoy my lessons with Yris. She is friendly, encouraging, and makes learning Spanish easy and fun. I feel more confident after every class and look forward to continuing my lessons with her.

Yris is an amazing teacher. This is only my second lesson and I already feel like I’m learning so much. She makes me feel comfortable and at ease, and she corrects me in a way that helps me learn without feeling embarrassed. Maestra Yris is an awesome teacher. I love the fact that she makes all the lessons enjoyable, clear and understandable. Her energy makes you want to learn more and push to move forward with your learning process. I have been learning Spanish for years and it's the patience for me. She explains everything thoroughly and she does not move forward until you understand. Wonderful teacher. She makes learning Spanish fun.
