I'm a bubbly person, who enjoys watching movies, playing the ukulele, singing, and playing with my dogs. I used to be a nurse, so I have extensive medical vocabularies. I can proofread essays and thesis, coach job interviews and other English proficiency exams. ^_^

I'm focused on my students' grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency. I possess a wide range of medical background since I used to be a nurse. As an ESL instructor, my main objective is to nourish your English skills, and remind you of the language rules for proper and natural constructions. I'll coach you on your English proficiency exams (IELTS, TOEFL, etc) and job interviews, as well as help proofread essays, CV, and case presentations. I ensure my students to be engaged in various discussions, vocabulary and grammar exercises, and constant practices. I was fortunate enough to have Aiza as my English tutor, and under her guidance, I achieved a score of 7.5 in my first IELTS speaking test! Aiza is an incredibly patient teacher who takes the time to point out any grammar issues I may have and provides me with valuable insights on how to improve my pronunciation through tongue twisters and other exercises.
Her teaching style is not only informative but also engaging, which makes learning enjoyable. I appreciate that she took the time to answer all of my questions about the different parts of the IELTS exam and provided me with useful tips to help me succeed. I highly recommend to you Teacher Aiza's class! As a data analyst, I chose teacher by data, I take Aiza's class because she has been teaching in italki since 2014, that means she has a lot of experience, her presentation video showed that she has a clear pronounciation and is very professional, she also has the topest students retention, that means every student of her takes 13 classes which is almost the topest in italki with also a topest class number around 13500, this means most students like to take more classes with her, comparatively around 5 for retention and 2000-3000 for class number as an average for other teachers in italki. After have been taking some her classes, I find her classes are just what I need for preparing ILTS test with many materials sent by her. And what's more, she makes report for every class, so you can fully focus on practising. It will be a huge lost if you miss her class.

Teacher Aiza helped me a lot with my preparation for the IELTS. She’s a knowledgeable person, always supportive and encouraging. She provided me with all useful materials, feedback with mistakes after each class, and checked writing tasks1,2 giving advice how to improve them. Overall, I’m happy to meet her!
