Hello there! My name is Romain, I'm 23. I come from Belgium and my native language is French. I also speak English, Dutch and Spanish.
I've been passionate about languages since 14 years old. I study English&Dutch literature and linguistics, as well as translation (master degree). Beside university, I also play the violin.
I have many hobbies and a high interest for everything that surrounds me. Here are a couple of these hobbies: Language learning, Violin/Opera, Journaling, ASMR, gaming, walking, composing watching animes...Che tipo di insegnante sono
I generally adapt well to different types of students. I'd love to help you find the tools and resources that suit you best. I enjoy giving small challenges to help you build up your confidence.
If you ever feel lost or demotivated, I can help you set up a learning programme that aligns with your expectations.
My teaching experience:
I have worked as a secundary school teacher and both the institution and the pupils (12-17yo) have expressed their enthusiasm about my lessons. I have also given private classes in French, English and Dutch. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
The course may be given in: French, English, Dutch or Spanish (I do understand Italian and German to some extend). /!\ Tell me you level beforehand AND if there are specific topics you want to look into.
Here's what you can expect during a lesson:
1. Introduction (video, image, game, text)

3. Vocabulary/Syntax/Grammar
4. Topic conversation

English and Dutch teacherI was contacted by a school because they were interested by my profile, even as a student. I therefore accepted to become a fulltime teacher for 3 weeks until a certified teacher would be able to come back. It eventually ended up being a wonderful experience to me, the institution, as well as the students. I later got a job offer from this school, asking me if I would accept working as an official teacher. Seeing my students enjoy learning was beautiful.

Road emergencies operatorI was working as a Bilingual student (NDL/FR) operator. I would take care of insurance clients from Benelux when they'd have emergencies all across Europe. This required being bilingual in Dutch and French, but also necessitated more in order to communicate with foreign agencies (mostly English. This job required a lot of management, communication and organisation between insurances, institutions, foreign policies, client's rights...
