As your teacher, I always prepare for the lessons (and I hope you do so, too) and try to respond to the students wishes. I create a friendly and unprejudiced learning environment.
Because I love to expand my (teaching) knowledge, I worked in different schools.
- During my studies I did an internship (High School) for 6 months, and I also worked at a Primary School for 7 months.
- Simultaneously, I achieved my teaching certification for DAF/DAZ (German as a foreign language). Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache, weswegen ich besonders gut Englisch an Deutsch sprechenden vermitteln kann.

Teaching
As already mentioned in the video my main goals are:
1. Increase in student speaking time
2. Use of different media and skills activation
3. Correction and preparation
However, my methodology highly depends on the students wants and needs. Together with my students I like to create the lesson that suits each individual the best. I think it's important to have a balance between fun and passing on knowledge in every lesson.
I teach beginners A0 (Primary School, age around 5) to advanced C1 (High School A-levels, age independent).
Additionally I teach scientific (Biology) English.
I do not accept lesson requests within less than 48 h in advance.

Post dottorato - Teaching/ Biology, EnglishAfter finishing University, in Germany, we have to do 1,5 years "teachers-trainee" (High School). We call it "Referendariat". The idea behind it is that you are a full teacher and you have your own classes, but you also have a mentor that regularly checks on your skills and evaluate your lessons.

I looked forward to each of our lessons and I've learned not only German from her, but also how I want my future language learning lessons to look like for any other languages I might wish to take on :)
