Hello everyone. I’m Raquel, a language teacher from Málaga, in the south of Spain (Andalusia). I hold a degree in English Studies from the University of Málaga and a Master's in Language Teaching from UCAM. I’m an experienced Spanish teacher who loves helping students gain confidence and enjoy learning Spanish. I’m spontaneous, adaptable, and focused on making my students feel comfortable and safe while practicing the language. I enjoy creating a friendly and encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as a natural part of learning, and where students feel free to express themselves without fear. I like to connect with my students, adapt to their interests, and make each lesson fun and motivating, whether we’re talking about daily life, culture, or travel experiences. My classes are conversation-focused, designed to give you plenty of opportunities to speak naturally and practice fluency. We mainly focus on conversation, but I can provide some grammar explanations when needed, and I always offer final feedback at the end of the class—including notes on grammar and areas for improvement—without interrupting your speaking flow. The goal is for you to learn actively, feel confident, and enjoy the process while improving your Spanish. I had a first lesson with Raquel after some years of not speaking spanish at all. We spook and I searched my words and a lot returned back and I got into a good conversation with her, which I didn't expect to be possible with such a long break :-)
