With a solid background in Journalism and Education, I've developed a variety of Spanish teaching methods designed for people of all levels. With over 11 years of teaching experience, I've had the honor of helping more than 2500 students from different countries, backgrounds, levels of proficiency, and ages. My approach is personalized, always adapting lessons to your interests and goals. Our lessons can be entirely in Spanish or in a mix of Spanish and English, especially if you're starting from scratch. The crucial thing is that by the end of each lesson, you acquire new knowledge and vocabulary to practice. In our first lesson, I will assess your level of Spanish, and together, we will design a work plan tailored to your needs, goals, and interests. If I had more time available I would see him a lot more often. He is a wonderful teacher and I highly recommend him.

After only a 30 minute intro with Javier, I am certain that he will be able to exceed my expectations and help me in my journey to Spanish fluency. He was very thorough listening to my goals, providing tips, notes and material to help with my progress.
I will absolutely be booking lessons for the foreseeable future with Javier, he has a fantastic approach to teaching and immediately understood my level and what direction we should be going with my lessons

Javier is doing a great job as a teacher. He is patient, well-prepared, and makes the class very practical. I really appreciate how he focuses on helping me become familiar with words and expressions specifically used by Venezuelans. Since I encounter more Venezuelans each day, his teaching is very relevant and helpful for my daily conversations. Javier is dedicated to making sure I learn what’s most useful, and I’m glad to be working with him.
