My passions range from playing the bass guitar to meditation, reading, and, of course, spending time with my family and friends. With a solid background in Journalism and Education, I've developed a variety of Spanish teaching methods designed for people of all levels. With over 11 years of teaching experience, I've had the honor of helping more than 2500 students from different countries, backgrounds, levels of proficiency, and ages. My approach is personalized, always adapting lessons to your interests and goals. Our lessons can be entirely in Spanish or in a mix of Spanish and English, especially if you're starting from scratch. He is a truly fantastic Spanish teacher! He has a real talent for making every lesson engaging and going way beyond just textbook grammar. One of the things I appreciate most is how he's helped me untangle what I already knew. Javier is doing a great job as a teacher. He is patient, well-prepared, and makes the class very practical. I really appreciate how he focuses on helping me become familiar with words and expressions specifically used by Venezuelans. Since I encounter more Venezuelans each day, his teaching is very relevant and helpful for my daily conversations. Javier is dedicated to making sure I learn what’s most useful, and I’m glad to be working with him.

Professor Javier has been incredible so far!! I have very limited existing knowledge of Spanish; he immediately worked to create a comprehensive roadmap based on my goals, and broken into components that are very manageable, even for me! So far he's been patient, enthusiastic, and friendly, and is overall a blast to learn from. Can't wait to continue my Spanish journey with Professor Javier!!
