Hello. I'm Hana. Nice to meet you. I am a native Korean who was born and raised in Seoul. I speak standard Korean. I am interested in various topics related to languages and cultures. I like to travel around the world and am currently learning Japanese. I am into K-pop and nail art and sometimes draw pictures or take photos.

I have taught 1000+ lessons in italki so far. Before this, I have experience teaching Korean to international students through a global program at my university. I conduct my lessons according to the student's needs. Before starting class, I try to get to know the student's learning experience, current level, and goal. And then I will plan our further classes together. The clearer the student wants, the better. Therefore, if there are anythings you want to get from the class, please let me know. Even if there is something unsatisfactory, if you let me know, I will try my best to meet your request. Don't hesitate to ask me a favor.

very beneficial for me studying the

Korean words I did not know.
Then we did a review on what I had
previously learned.
Hana has been a big help for me in
learning the Korean language.

After more than 20 lessons, Hana confirms herself as a fantastic teacher. She is able to adapt her lessons to the students' need very naturally. Moreover, she is very good at explaining nuances of meaning or use of Korean words and expressions. She is also very precise, and she makes sure to provide the perfect corrections in a very friendly and instructive way.

Hana provided me with the Korean words that
I did not know.
Then we went over my writing homework.
Hana corrected some of my sentences.
Next, we started working on the new chapter (8).
My classes with Hana have been very helpful
for me learning this difficult language.
