Salut, Hi, Hola ! :)
As explained in my video, I am a 23 years old French native speaker. I first studied international trade then decided to teach French. I have given 1-on1 classes for more than a year and a half now and I really enjoy it! :D
I like to learn and discover new things especially about foreign countries and cultures. I love to help, to be useful, to laugh and make people happy. I hate injustice and broccoli.

It may sound random but I truly try to adapt my lessons to each student. Also, I love getting feedback!
I love to use the trial lesson to understand the student's level, his goals and his way of working.
This first call also allows us to get to know each other and establish a first contact, to create a bond of trust.

I advise students to book at least 2 lessons per week.
I like to divide the class into 4 parts: brush up on the previous class (grammar point and vocabulary), learning a new point, exercises to practice.
Finally, I like to give feedbacks at the end of the lesson so you know what to focus on to progress.
And when it comes to conversation sessions I like to casually talk about everything, the subject is actually a pretext so you can work on your oral expression. But of course I like to make it fun!
I use videos, music, slideshows etc but I also like to create my own course material using books or online lessons to make the course as complete as possible.Il mio materiale didattico

Simply put, Emilie is awesome! Her friendly personality allows for relaxed and fluid conversations that never fail to be interesting and engaging. She also accommodates to my needs as a learner, provides excellent feedback, and encourages me to become better. Emilie is the epitome of the best that italkie has to offer.

Emily is an amazing teacher. She has a lot of patience and knows how to guide the conversations in a way that encourages me to express myself with naturality. She also gives very good feedback in a kind way that made me feel confident to experiment and make mistakes while still learning effectively. 10/10!!!!

I’m pretty shy, but Émilie is so warm and friendly that I actually feel decently comfortable stuttering through all the French I remember with her. I don’t think I’ve ever had another French teacher be so completely nonjudgmental and patient as I formulate my French sentences in real-time during her conversation classes. She provides feedback in a very gentle way and her conversation classes feel more like a relaxed, fun FaceTime call with your bestie rather than a stiff classroom environment. Her welcoming personality actually encourages me to try (and sometimes fail) more in French rather than stay in my comfort zone with basic sentences. I’ve been really enjoying the conversation classes I’ve been taking with her - I always feel more accomplished and encouraged to continue with my French studies after them! 🤍
