I studied German at the University of Cologne for a teaching degree. So I am a trained German teacher.
Meanwhile I have many years of professional experience. I would like to help you improve your German and celebrate success in learning the German language.

It is important to me that my lessons are fun and engaging. That's why I use different materials and methods. My lessons are mostly structured lessons with textbook and grammar exercises.
I work via Skype or Zoom. If you want, you can also receive homework from me.

I am grateful for Irma's tutorship. She is not only a native speaker, but also has the pedagogical skills to engage the learners with learning German. I would highly recommend Irma's classes to anyone who wants to improve their German speaking skills.

Ich habe etwa 3 Monate lang bei Irma gelernt. Mein Ziel war es, meine Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch zu verbessern. Irma hat auch meine schriftlichen Hausaufgaben kontrolliert.
In dieser Zeit hat sich mein Deutsch so sehr verbessert, dass ich mich sicher genug fühlte, um auf Deutsch zu arbeiten.
Irma bereitet sich immer auf den Unterricht vor und schlägt interessante Themen für Gespräche vor. Ich habe mich in unserem Deutschunterricht wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich kann Irma als Lehrerin sehr empfehlen!

Was a bit late.
I had feeling that she hurries somewhere. Maybe just not my type of teacher.
Was well prepared. She listened to me well. When a pause appeared, she was able to fill it with a new task.
