Joon

Today was so much fun. We had gone to a concert over the weekend so wave some lessons today and the next meeting going over what we saw, what we bought, how we enjoyed it. Really good applicable, conversational language use. The best part was tying in and using our existing language set with some new vocabulary words to tie it all together.

Another great lesson. We practiced vocabulary and grammar using experiences from a recent trip we took. Really a lot of fun!

I’m very grateful to have Joon as my Korean tutor. I’ve had several tutors before, but Joon is by far the best! He is very patient, gentle, and understanding. He helps me feel that it’s perfectly okay to learn at my own pace and that it’s okay even if I make mistakes. This kind of support means so much to me as an adult learner. Learning as an adult is not easy, but Joon is always patient and understanding. I never feel pressured in our lessons, instead I feel encouraged and motivated every time. I like Joon’s teaching style, it’s warm and thoughtful and creative. He always find interesting ways to teach me Korean. We even play games to learn Korean vocabulary, listen to Korean songs, and watch Kdrama clips, which makes studying so much more fun! Thank you Joon, for your hard work and kindness. Learning Korean with you is never boring, it’s always fun. I really appreciate you! Really the best! I’m excited to become very good at speaking Korean soon! Thanks Joon!

Today we reviewed our homework and learned our next lesson material. He is always so fun and engaging. He truly cares about your progress and he tailors his lesson info and pacing to your needs.

Thank you for another great lesson! We had real fun with the game that we played incorporating the new vocabulary.

We’ve really enjoyed learning with Joon. We first picked Joon to prepare for a vacation trip to South Korea. And it was awesome!! And we want to go back so we have continued lessons with Joon. He is an excellent teacher! He incorporates media into his lessons with an emphasis on matching our likes to make it interesting. We have learned a tremendous amount and we look forwarding to continuing this journey with Joon!
