I have experience with teaching online as well as in a traditional setting. Being a language learner myself, I know what the most common challenges are when learning a language and the most successful ways to overcome them. In addition, both my undergraduate studies as well as most of my jobs required me to have an impeccable use of Spanish and English, which proved to be very useful when helping other people to learn these languages.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
In my opinion, the easiest and most memorable way of learning is having fun during the process. That is why I aim to provide you with a supportive, engaging and thought-provoking environment in which your oral production will take the lead role. Having said that, I am very flexible, and I will adjust my methods according to your specific needs and requirements. On every session, corrections made will be provided on a customized Google doc, so that you can always refer to it whenever you want to study and keep track of our lessons. I will provide a safe environment for you to practice Spanish or English and build up your confidence and fluency.Il mio materiale didattico

I really appreciate the way Vanessa structures our time together and the exercises she provides to spur my improvement! Vanessa is very patient with me, which is necessary since I'm a beginner and make lots of mistakes.

I do translations of song lyrics for a Spanish class I am taking and Vanessa checks my work. It’s just one of the things we work on during my hour with her. I am always impressed at Vanessa’s command of English.

Another great lesson! It was so interesting to talk about a topic I know very well... but have only spoken about in English. It was a challenge but really fun to discuss in Spanish and I definitely learned a lot. Muchas Gracias como siempre.

What a great lesson today! I translate song lyrics for a class I’m taking and as you can imagine song lyrics can be some of the trickiest possible things to translate. I was completely unaware of a bad translation I had made until Vanessa pointed it out. Now I’m a genius!
